1. Please rate the general quality of information at the GFipis 2003.

The question sought participant information to the overall quality of information presented during the three-day Forum. The results of the survey were as follows: 41.9% of the participants responded with "better than expected." 45.2% of the participants responded with "as expected", 12.9% responded with "less than expected". Suggestion was made that since there was so much interesting information to absorb, it would have been helpful to have a lot of that information prior to the event and maybe involve participants in the preparation of the agenda.

Comments: Summit was an eye-opener and drew global focus on the need to provide access to the indigenous peoples to the information society.
GFipis was a long-overdue recognition of the special needs of indigenous peoples in the communication field. It should definitely be repeated, and integrated, with the next WSIS.
This was a great session of south-south, indigenous-indigenous exchange.
I wish for more of this was to take place soon so that more ideas can be brought to those of us who need them.
