Giwaykiwin courses combine the philosophy of Outward Bound with the values and teachings reflected in the Aboriginal community.

Aboriginal Cadet Development Program  

Aboriginal Cadet Development program is a program for Aborigianl people. The Cadet will return to their local detatchment to participate in a mandatory program until they have satisfatorilly passed admission requirements.

Aboriginal Youth Financial Management Conference Awards  

The AFOA-Grant Thornton Aboriginal Youth Financial Managements Awards are open to First Nation youth in grades 11 and 12. Winners attend AFOA's National Conference and participate in a special Youth program designed to introduce youth to careers in Aboriginal finance and management.

Aboriginal Youth Sponsorship Program  

The purpose of PBLI’s Aboriginal Youth Sponsorship Program is to facilitate the political and business education of Aboriginal youth by offering free registrations to qualified youths to attend its conferences.

Aboriginal Youth Suicide Prevention Training for Youth Educators  

This program teaches young adults and community caregivers about suicide prevention, and secondly, trains them to present suicide prevention education sessions to youth in their home community.

Bold Eagle – Land Force Western Area (16 years and over)  

Bold Eagle is a unique summer training and employment program for Aboriginal youth living in Western Canada or Northwestern Ontario that combines military training and Aboriginal cultural awareness.

CAP National Youth Council Achievement Awards

E–Spirit National Aboriginal Youth Business Plan Competition  

Designed to increase Aboriginal youth participants' awareness of entrepreneurial/business opportunities, management/business skills, and e-commerce and technological capacities.

Helen Bassett Commemorative Student Award  

Every year, NWAC Youth Department and the Youth Council coordinate the Helen Bassett youth scholarships awarded to four young Aboriginal women in the amount of $1,000 each.

Integrated Resources for Aboriginal Youth (IRAY)  

The IRAY Program is a youth-driven program that provides educational, recreational, cultural and life skills programming to Aboriginal youth within the community of Prince George.

Junior Canadian Rangers Programme (12 to 18 years old)  

Offers young people in remote and isolated communities across Canada a unique opportunity to participate in a variety of fun and rewarding activities in a formal setting.
